Welcome to Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka! Our journey begins as we arrive in Colombo at 2 AM in the morning. Throughout the trip, we will have the convenience of a combined transportation service. After our arrival, we will transfer to Kandy, making a stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to witness these majestic creatures. Once in Kandy, we will check in at our hotel. Later, we will have the privilege of visiting the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth, housing a precious relic of Lord Buddha.
Following breakfast, we will embark on a journey to Nuwara Eliya, affectionately referred to as the “Scotland of Sri Lanka.” This enchanting destination boasts vast tea gardens and factories, surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes, creating a refreshing and cool atmosphere. Its picturesque lakes add to the charm of this place. Among the notable attractions, the Sita Temple stands as a must- visit temple worth exploring.
Once we’ve enjoyed a s breakfast at our hotel in Kandy, it’s time to set off for the alluring destination of Bentota. There, we will be captivated by the exotic beach, surrounded by enchanting mangrove forests and cinnamon cultivation. Ou plan for the day includes leisurely lounging on the beach, with the added advantage of our resort bein conveniently located right by the beachside. Prepare for a relaxing and unforgettable experience.
Following a delightful breakfast, accompanied by the mesmerizing ocean view, our next destination is the captivating mangrove forest on Madu River. Here, we’ll have the chance to observe reptiles and numerous species of freshwater fishes. Additionally, we’ll get an insight into the intriguing process of cinnamon extraction from its plant.
Finally, we’ll head back to
the beach to witness the breathtaking sunset, adding the perfect finishing touch to our day.
Following a delightful breakfast, our next destination is the vibrant metropolis of Colombo, pulsating with historical monuments, local street foods, bustling shopping hubs, and lively casinos with pubs. This exciting city offers the perfect blend of experiences, making it an ideal finale for our enriching and memorable two-day gateway.
After Breakfast we will check out from the hotel and will keep our luggage at the cloak room. Dont forget to buy flavored tea, souvenirs from city markets and having a cup of coffee at french cafes. In the evening we will leave for the airport leaving with lots of memories and fun
